Delete your AstroConnect account
How to delete your AstroConnect account and data. This applies to the AstroConnect app on Google Play and Galaxy Store and to the astroconnect.app website. You do not need to sign in to read this page.
Delete in the app
- Open the app and sign in.
- Go to Account → Delete My Account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Your sign-in is revoked straight away on all devices.
Delete on the website
- Sign in at astroconnect.app with the email address or phone number you use in the app.
- Open Account privacy (https://astroconnect.app/account/privacy).
- If asked, request and enter a one-time verification code.
- Optional: choose Download export to keep a copy of your data first.
- Under Erase account data, type DELETE and choose Request erasure.
Ask us by email
Email contact@astroconnect.app with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address you use to sign in, or include the mobile number registered to your account, so we can confirm the request comes from the account holder. We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting anything.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, sign-in email address and phone number.
- Birth details you entered, including any partner details entered for matching.
- Guide chat messages and chat history, and your chat consent records.
- Reports you made about guide replies.
- Push notification registrations, sign-in tokens and sessions.
- Unused price quotes for readings and replies.
Messages you sent to support are held in our support mailbox. If you want those removed too, say so in your request.
What may be kept, and why
If your account has a credit balance, purchases or paid requests, we keep a minimal pseudonymised financial record: amounts, credit balance and ledger entries, a hash of the store receipt, and the linked paid-request records. It is stored under a random ID and is no longer linked to your name, phone number or email address. Financial and transaction records are kept permanently for accounting, tax and dispute purposes.
Routine server logs are deleted automatically, normally after 14 days. If you have unused credits, contact us before deleting your account.
