This Privacy Policy applies to all astrologers, consultants, or service providers (“partners”) who register, onboard, or offer services via the Astroconnect platform (“we”, “us”, “our”). By joining Astroconnect as a partner, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described herein.
What Data We Collect
Astroconnect collects and processes information necessary for verifying, onboarding, and managing your professional relationship with us, including:
Personal details: name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, ID and KYC documents
Professional details: qualifications, expertise, certifications, biography, headshot/profile images, work samples or evidence of expertise
Payment information: bank account or UPI details for payouts (handled securely and not shared except with payment partners to remit payments)
Usage data: app login history, availability, response metrics, call/chat logs (for quality monitoring)
Device information: IP address, device details for security and support
Communications: all interactions with customers on the platform (calls, chats, messages), and any communications with Astroconnect teams
Astroconnect uses this data for the following purposes:
To verify your identity and credentials
To display your profile to customers and facilitate informed service selection
To manage payments, taxes, and compliance obligations
Quality monitoring, training, and handling feedback or disputes
Internal analytics to improve platform quality and user experience
Preventing fraud or abuse of the platform
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all personal and professional information provided.
Profile data and limited contact details (such as first name, expertise, ratings, availability, and biography) may be publicly displayed to users.
Sensitive data (KYC, identification details, full contact info) is kept confidential and only shared with third parties when necessary for legal, regulatory, audit, or payment processing purposes.
No personal contact details (mobile number, email, address) are shared directly with customers, except as required by law or for service fulfillment with your consent.
Data may be shared in case of legal investigations as required by authorities.
All partner activities are monitored for compliance and quality assurance. Astroconnect reserves the right to review or audit calls, chats, and content for customer protection.
Your location, availability status, and performance analytics may be tracked for operational optimization.
Astroconnect may use third-party technology partners for video/audio, analytics, cloud storage, payment processing, or KYC compliance.
Where third-party platforms are used, your data is subject to their privacy policies as well.
We use commercially reasonable safeguards including encryption, secure storage, and access controls.
Only authorized personnel can access sensitive data, and only as necessary for service or compliance.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute data security.
Personal and professional data is retained as long as you remain a partner and as required for legal, compliance, and accountancy purposes, even after account closure.
Call/chat records may be kept for quality and dispute resolution for a limited duration.
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data (except where required for compliance/legal reasons) by contacting contact@astroconnect.app.
You may request a summary of your stored data and the third parties with whom it has been shared.
Astroconnect may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the Partner Portal or notified via email. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
