These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the AstroConnect website (astroconnect.app) and mobile apps (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18. The Services are intended for users in India. If you access from outside India, you do so at your own risk and remain responsible for local compliance.

2. Nature of services

AstroConnect is a marketplace and technology platform that connects users with independent third-party astrologers. We are not the astrologer. We do not provide the consultation ourselves. Astrologers are independent practitioners who set their own opinions and remedies. Predictions, remedies and advice provided through the Services are based on traditional Vedic and other astrological systems and are intended as guidance only. Outcomes vary by individual; no astrologer or AstroConnect makes any claim of guaranteed result. See Disclaimer.

3. Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account password and OTP confidential.
• You must provide accurate registration data and keep it updated.
• One account per person. You may not share or transfer your account.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for fraud, abuse, harassment of astrologers, or violation of these Terms.

4. Wallet, payments and pricing

• Consultations are paid for via a prepaid wallet. You can recharge your wallet using cards, UPI, net banking and other supported methods.
• Per-minute charges are deducted in real time during a chat or call. Rates are displayed before you start any session.
• GST is added in accordance with Indian law.
• Wallet balance is non-transferable, has no cash equivalent, and cannot be withdrawn other than via refund as per our Refund Policy.
• We may revise rates from time to time. Existing wallet balance is not affected by rate changes.

5. Astrologer onboarding & verification

All astrologers on AstroConnect undergo identity verification (KYC), document checks and a skill assessment before being listed. We use reasonable diligence but do not warrant the accuracy of any individual astrologer's opinion or prediction.

6. User conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, abuse, threaten or use sexually explicit language with any astrologer or user
• Demand or solicit personal contact details (phone, social media, WhatsApp) outside the Services
• Ask astrologers for medical diagnoses, prescription drugs, legal advice, or financial-product advice — astrology is not a substitute for these
• Request remedies involving harm to any person or animal
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering or fraud
• Scrape, copy, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the Services
• Upload viruses or malicious code
• Misrepresent your identity or use false birth details

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including all software, design, content (other than content you submit), trademarks and logos, are owned by AstroConnect or our licensors. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Services for the intended consultation purposes.

9. User-generated content

Reviews, ratings and questions you submit are your responsibility. By submitting them, you grant AstroConnect a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them on the Services. We may remove content that is abusive, defamatory, misleading, or violates these Terms.

10. Third-party services

The Services integrate with payment gateways, communication providers and video/voice SDKs. Your use of these is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service outages.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any astrological reading will be accurate or beneficial. Astrological readings are a form of guidance and are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. See Disclaimer.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AstroConnect's aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify AstroConnect against any claim arising from your breach of these Terms, your user-generated content, or your misuse of the Services.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms with reasonable notice (except in cases of fraud or imminent harm). On termination, unused wallet balance is refundable per our Refund Policy.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the grievance mechanism in our Grievance Redressal, any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, India.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app and via email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
